Deep Dish Pizza Recipe (Leutzsch Style)

Dough

2 Pies

  • 400g flour
  • 40g olive oil
  • 8g salt
  • 2.4g yeast
  • 300g water

4 Pies

  • 800g flour
  • 80g olive oil
  • 16g salt
  • 4.8g yeast
  • 600g water

Instructions

  1. mix dry yeast and flour
  2. add water and olive oil
  3. mix slightly and add salt
  4. refrigerate for 10 minutes and fold
  5. fold again every few hours

Sauce

Per pie:

  • 1 can of tomatoes (400g)
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 5g salt
  • 1 teaspoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder
